About us
Piscinas Altagay manages an administrative concession located on the coast of Punta del Hidalgo in San Cristóbal de La Laguna and offers a quality alternative for the use and enjoyment of the facilities by all residents of the municipality and interested people.
Anyone can enter the facilities of Piscinas Altagay and make use of them either by purchasing a ticket or becoming a member of the entity.

The services we offer
Natural water pool
Our facilities have the largest saltwater pool extracted directly from the sea in Tenerife, with 1,120 square metres and a capacity of two million litres.
Direct acess to the sea
In total there are 5 points of direct access to the sea through stainless steel stairs and ramps to facilitate entry and exit to the water. Thanks to this, the sea can be enjoyed regardless of the height of the tide.
Lifeguard
The staff is trained in rescue and first aid services both in the pool itself and in the nearby sea areas. Always follow their directions and pay attention to the color of the flags.
Hammocks and umbrellas
In the areas of Solarium there is the possibility of renting hammocks and umbrellas for use during the day.
Children’s pool
A part of the facilities is dedicated to the little ones, with an exclusive swimming pool for them and their parents, where they will be more safe.
Kiosk The Pearl of the Sea
During the summer months, we set up a kiosk in a specific area with ice cream, soft drinks, beers, tapas and snacks at reduced prices
Stand-up Up Paddle
We have recently acquired three Paddle Surf boards for the exclusive use of the users of our facilities. With them you can paddle surf from the area of La Furnia to El Arenal, enjoying the sea shore landscape
Pleasure boats
During the summer months, there is a specific area for recreational boats and a winch to enable the access of the boats by the ramp
Cabins
For the most frequent swimming pool users there is the possibility of having a personal cabin in different areas of the facilities where to store those objects that are most needed (sun loungers, umbrellas, fishing or nautical equipment, etc.).
Piscinas Altagay provides free space and facilities for rescue services to deploy their equipment and endowments throughout the area of La Punta and Bajamar

Access prices from November to April every day of the week. From May to October, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays)
